Sriracha Shrimp

A nice, sweet and spicy shrimp appetizer

Recipe:
  • Soak about 1 pound of shelled,, deveined shrimp for half hour in baking soda and salt. Tip: the baking soda helps to keep the shrimp from drying out when cooking. Rinse well and drain on a paper towel.
  • Season with a little Lawry's seasoning or any other seasoning.
  • Cook in HOT skillet with very little oil for 3-4 minutes on each side until cooked.
Step 2:
  • In a small saucepan, melt one tbspn. butter, add 2 tablespoons of siracha sauce, and 2 tablespoons of sweet chili sauce.  Mix well.
  • Pour over the cooked shrimp. Mix to coat the shrimp.
  • Arrange shrimp on a lettuce "cup" (season the cups with a little salt and pepper). Drizzle a little sauce over the shrimp. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro.Serve while shrimp is warm.
