Grilled Nectarines in honey-butter syrup

Grilled Nectarines in honey-butter syrup with vanilla icecream

I used ripe nectarines. You could use ripe peaches instead.

Recipe:
  • Mix two tablespoons of honey, 2-3 tablespoons of melted butter, a pinch of salt and a tspn. of vanilla essence.
  • Cut the ripe fruit into halves and remove the seed.
  • Apply a little honey sauce on the cut side and grill on medium heat until slightly charred and fruit starts to soften. I did this step on a hot skille
  • Serve immediately with vanilla icecream and a drizzle of honey syrup.
  • I also added a layer of leftover cake at the bottom of each bowl.
